The Gusto Theatre Company began in 1995 when we produced Abraham Lincoln: The Great Emanicipator, an educational production that toured to numerous schools in Central and Eastern Kentucky.
Many of our plays are original productions or creative adaptations of classics.

The Gusto Theatre Company offers numerous Drama/History Programs for schools across the state of Kentucky and beyond.
We continue our mission of teaching kids about the elements of drama with workshops and productions of plays like Jemima Boone: Daughter of the Frontier, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves of the Old Republic , Cinderella and the Quest for the Crystal Pump, and Jacklyn Sparrow and the Lady Pirates of the Caribbean and helping to spark an interest in Theatre for thousands of students!
